[My Top 3 Favourites] Bookish Merchandise and Where to Find Them

img_20161207_123501Hi there guys, so I’ve kind of been debating about whether or not to do a post related to bookish merch. As it is I know a lot of you out there won’t be at all bothered by any merchandise surrounding books but I also know that a bunch of you, like myself, are opposite.

I love bookish merchandise. Whether it be jewelry, bookmarks, posters, pillows or more there’s a huge array of items out there to give you your bookish fix. As it is I’ve become rather prone to a bit of merchandise surrounding my favourite books… in fact I could probably currently dedicate a whole shelf on my bookcase just to Sarah J. Maas’ ‘A Court of Mist and Fury’. There are some amazing items out there and some amazing designers who bring us these items.

I guess I wanted to do this post in order to showcase some of my personal favourites and to give you some suggestions on places you could find your own bookish merchandise… and actually, in the run up to Christmas, this might just be a great place to look for ideas for any book lovers you’re planning on getting a present for.

Eviebookish/Evie Seo -> RedBubble/Society6

I officially love this girl, she’s an absolute design genius and a total sweetheart. She’s probably one of the most well known designers in the book community and does some amazing work surrounding a whole bunch of different books and bookish theme’s. She covers a lot of classic books as well as popular new releases and I would honestly recommend this lovely lady’s work any day of the week.

I’m lucky enough to own 4 items by Evie, 3 pillows and a mug… I love each one of them. They are all utterly stunning and are genuinely items I could just stare at for hours… ok slight exaggeration but hopefully you get my point!

The items I currently own are a ACOMAF quote pillow, a Peter Pan quote pillow, a Beauty and the Beast quote pillow and finally my Night Court mug.

Till & Dill -> Etsy

Again these two lovely sisters are beyond talented… the pair make the most gorgeous of bookmarks and I’m genuinely in awe over all their work. The quality is wonderful and the designs themselves are so pretty… their designs aren’t yet based off of any books but rather inspired but elements like seasons, animals and festive occasions. I honestly couldn’t recommend these ladies enough either… I’ve been able to converse with them on Instagram and they really are total sweethearts who work extremely hard and go above and beyond for their follows.

I am coming very close to owning most of Till and Dills bookmarks… I’m about 80% done of my collection. I was also lucky enough to get one of their works in my recent Meraki Candles box and let me tell you I literally squealed… that’s how much I love these guys!!

Meraki Candles -> Etsy

Heather is another lovely lady I’ve had the pleasure of conversing with… she’s a super talented candle creator based in Scotland and I have to admit I’m obsessed with her work. Not only do her candles smell absolutely incredible but they are also incredibly visually pleasing as well!

I love how much this sweetheart has grown and it’s incredible to think she simply started this out as a hobby and now has it as her own business… I also think it’s important to mention she practically does all of this on her own as well. She’s most certainly a busy bee!

I now own a rather large range of candles from Heather including ‘Cookies & Dreams’, ‘Rhysand’, ‘Night Court’, ‘Jinn’, ‘Atlantis’, ‘Robin Hood’, ‘Persephone’ with ‘Starfall’ and ‘Velaris’ still currently in the mail. Obsessed? Me? No… well… maybe a little.

That sum’s up my top 3 favourite bookish merchandise hot spots! There are a whole bunch of amazing designers and business’ that focus in on the land of books but I figured in today’s post I’d simply focus on my top 3. Do you guys have any go to shops which you find hard to resist? Have you guys got any items from those mentioned above? Maybe you don’t even have any bookish merch… if so, would you get any and what would you get? I’m curious…

Anyway thank you for reading you lovely lot! I hope the end of the week is being pleasant for all of you! Happy reading!

      It really is gorgeous and props to society6 and redbubble for the quality of the items themselves. I’m forever wanting to buy more and more of Evie’s work… I really am… but I really can’t afford to XD

    OMG. I’m such a sucker for bookish merchandise. My very favorite is a Fantastic Beasts necklace that I bought at the Harry Potter store during my visit in London!
    Thank you for introducing all of us to these amazing designers! Evie’s work is so charming. And one can NEVER have too many pillows, especially when they are bookish pillows! 😉
    I look forward to reading more from you in the future Shannon! Happy Reading! ❤

      I’m such a sucker for bookish merch, I could literally name SO many different sites and stores… I’m terrible, candles and bookmarks are my worse though… definitely on a ‘can’t stop won’t stop’ grind for those two! And Evie really does have some of the most gorgeous designs ever, I just wish I had more of them! I have 3 of her pillows already and I genuinely would get more if I could 😂

      And thank you! I look forward to seeing your comments in the future too! 😉
